Orem High Grants Head Football Coach Jeremy Hill Temporary Leave Of Absence
SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Orem High School granted a temporary leave of absence to the school’s head football coach Jeremy Hill because of personal reasons.
Hill confirmed the leave of absence to KSL Sports on Sunday, August 16.
Tigers assistant Gabriel Sewell Sr. has reportedly taken over Hill’s responsibilities as the Tigers’ acting head coach.
Hill’s departure from the Orem football program arrived shortly after the No. 6 Tigers opened the 2020 season with a 51-14 route of rival Mountain View on Friday, August 14.

Orem led the Bruins 35-14 at halftime and didn’t stop there. The Tigers scored 16 unanswered points in the second half to close out the game.

Hill led Orem to a 10-4 record and a third consecutive state title in November 2019.
