Donovan Mitchell Continues Big Jazz Run With Putback Dunk

ORLANDO, Fla. – Utah Jazz guard Donovan Mitchell helped continue a big Jazz run with an athletic putback dunk late in the first half against the Memphis Grizzlies.
The Jazz were trailing by 13 midway through the second quarter when the they went on a 22-1 run.
Mike Conley shot a three-pointer in the corner and it did not fall but Mitchell flew down the weakside baseline and threw the ball down with two hands.
Right after the dunk, Mitchell dribbled down the floor and stepped back to create space from former Jazzman Grayson Allen and connected on the three-pointer.
Mitchell’s dunk put Utah within five points, 54-49 with 3:36 remaining in the second quarter. The three-pointer gave the Grizzlies just a two-point lead with 3:09 left until halftime.

Utah took a 64-55 lead at the half. Rudy Gobert scored 14 points and pulled down 8 rebounds in the first half. Donovan Mitchell, Mike Conley and Joe Ingles each scored 10 points apiece.
Dillon Brooks had an outstanding first half performance for Memphis, finishing with 20 points on 6 of 11 field goal shooting.
The Jazz are playing their fourth game of the reseeding portion of the NBA restart.
