SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Former Utah basketball star Keith Van Horn believes that college sports should switch to a model for sports that take place in Europe.
It has been widely documented of the flaws and issues that involves the NCAA with college student-athletes.
Van Horn tweeted his thoughts on the matter.
“I wish America would just go to the euro club model for all sports and we could just be done with the NCAA. The NCAA’s foundation is so flawed that it’s just never going to be right ever,” Van Horn tweeted.

This tweet comes after the Pac-12 student-athletes submitted a list of demands to the conference, while threatening to opt out of the season if certain demands were not met.
Since that time, Pac-12 commissioner Larry Scott responded to the demands with thoughts of his own in a letter that was obtained by Sports Illustrated.
In the letter, Commissioner Scott said he was willing to meet with the “We Are United” movement group this week.
