SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Donovan Mitchell will officially debut his new Don Issue #2 signature shoe from Adidas when the Utah Jazz take on the New Orleans Pelicans at Disney World Thursday night. To honor the event, Bleacher Report Kicks released an animated video of the Jazz star wearing the new shoes, swinging into the Disney resort in full ‘Spida’ Spiderman attire.
The Jazz guard earned the nickname “Spida” on the AAU circuit due to his long arms and ability to dart around the court. Mitchell first wore his new signature shoes in the Jazz scrimmage against the Phoenix last week.
In the video from B/R Kicks, Mitchell is seen diving headfirst off a skyscraper before slinging a web onto another building as he looks on at the castle at the Magic Kingdom at The Disney World Resort.

Spida Shoes Will Carry A Special Message
Mitchell will honor the life of Breonna Taylor when he takes the floor on Thursday night. The guard selected the phrase “Say Her Name” to replace the name on the back of his jersey.
Meanwhile, Mitchell’s new shoes will be emboldened with the phrases “Ready For Change” and “Say Their Names” to honor those who have lost their lives at the hands of police.

“I feel like as African American’s we’ve been crying for help and crying for someone to listen to us for so long,” Mitchell said. “With what’s been going on in the world now this is the perfect time to go out there and continue to have this uncomfortable conversation.”
The Jazz and Pelicans tip-off at 4:30 pm MT. The game will be broadcast on TNT and AT&T SportsNet.
