SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – The Utah Jazz are offering fans of the team opportunities to stay involved with the team as it competes inside the Orland bubble. On Thursday, as the Jazz prepare to reopen the NBA season, the team announced the initiatives to give fans unique access to the games.
First, the team is offering fans the opportunity to appear on the large video screens displayed within the three Disney arena’s where the Jazz will play their remaining games.
“For each of the four seeding games designated as a Jazz home contest (Aug. 3 vs. Los Angeles Lakers, Aug. 5 vs. Memphis, Aug. 10 vs. Dallas, Aug. 13 vs. San Antonio), the organization is holding a limited number of spots for fans to enter to win the opportunity to digitally appear live on the “Michelob ULTRA Courtside” 17-foot video boards surrounding the basketball court,” The team said in a release.

Fans interested in winning the chance to appear on the video board are encouraged to follow the team on twitter, @UtahJazz, for more information on how to earn a spot. The video board will show 300 fans in total, including the select winners, along with some season ticket holders, Jazz Youth participants, corporate partners, and special or community guests.
We Are With You Campaign
In addition to the digital video board appearances, Jazz fans can show their support for the team by creating team-themed artwork.
“Beginning today, the team will also accept art submissions exclusively in the Utah Jazz app for the “We Are With You Creative Notes Presented by University of Utah Health” community campaign,” The release read. “Fans are encouraged to upload their creative messages or art pieces that show their support for the home team competing thousands of miles away from Vivint Smart Home Arena.”

“The campaign will run through Thursday, Aug. 13, and select creative notes will be featured on Jazz social media, the Utah Jazz app, www.utahjazz.com and other Jazz channels.”
Furthering support for local artists, the Jazz are commissioning local artists to create original pieces within the “We Are With You” theme during the first round of the NBA Playoffs. The finished artwork will be exhibited on Jazz digital channels.
New NBA Hashtag
While the Jazz encourage fans to use the hashtag #TakeNote to follow along with games, the NBA and Twitter have teamed to create a new hashtag easter egg for fans watching games.
