ORLANDO, Fla. – Utah Jazz guard Donovan Mitchell threw a nice behind the back pass that led to a three-pointer by Jordan Clarkson.

Mitchell was going around a screen by Tony Bradley when he threw the ball behind his back to the opposite wing to Emmanuel Mudiay who immediately passed to Clarkson. Clarkson drilled the three to help the Jazz make their sixth shot from beyond the arc in the first quarter.

The three-pointer gave the Jazz a 27-17 lead against the Brooklyn Nets.

The Jazz had a 32-19 lead at the end of the opening quarter. It is the third and final scrimmage before the “reseeding games” begin on Thursday, July 30 against the New Orleans Pelicans.

Joe Ingles made two triples in the first quarter, Donovan Mitchell had one, Mike Conley added two three’s and Clarkson’s three-pointer towards the end of the first quarter.

Conley had a tremendous start to the game with 10 points in the first 12 minutes.
