Tony Finau Finishes 3M Open Tied For Third Place

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – For the second straight tournament, Tony Finau has finished in the top 10 after ending the 3M Open tied for third place at TPC Twin Cities in Blaine, Minnesota.
Entering the final round on Sunday, Finau was two shots behind the lead and ended three shots behind the champion Michael Thompson.
Finau shot three-under par in the final round and ended the tournament 16-under. He made four birdies, 13 pars and one bogey on Sunday.
The Rose Park, Utah native started the final round with a par before knocking in two straight birdies on No. 2 and 3. He finished the front-nine with six consecutive pars.
On the back-nine, Finau made birdie on No. 10 and then scored par on No. 11 and 12 before getting his only bogey of the round on No. 13. After four straight pars, Finau finished the tournament with a birdie on No. 18.
Finau has 4 top 10 finishes in 14 events this season.
