SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Jazz center Rudy Gobert rejected a shot attempt at the rim by Heat guard Tyler Herro during the third quarter of Utah’s scrimmage against Miami.
Gobert and the Jazz faced the Heat in the second of Utah’s three scrimmages prior to the restart of the 2019-20 season at Disney World in Orlando, Florida.
The two-time NBA Defensive Player of the Year stuffed Herro’s attempt at the basket with 7:21 remaining on the clock until the fourth quarter.
Gobert was initially whistled for a foul on the play before Jazz head coach Quin Snyder challenged the ruling.
After a review of the Jazz center’s contest against Herro, the call was reversed and the foul removed from Gobert’s stat line.
