SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Utah Jazz guard Donovan Mitchell debuted the second edition of his signature Adidas basketball shoes during the team’s first scrimmage of the NBA’s restart.

Mitchell and the Jazz faced the Phoenix Suns in the first of Utah’s three scrimmages prior to the restart of the 2019-20 season at Disney World in Orlando, Florida.

Against the Suns, the Jazz guard sported a white and gold colorway of his Adidas D.O.N Issue #2 colorway.

D.O.N stands for Determination Over Negativity.

Adidas’ website lists Mitchell’s second shoe as available “this summer”. The release date is rumored to be sometime in August.

Mitchell and Adidas released the first edition of the Jazzman’s signature, D.O.N Issue #1, in July 2019.

Since the initial red and blue colorway was released, many versions of Mitchell’s kicks have been available for the public to purchase, as well as a few special colorways that weren’t available via retail.

Mitchell’s first official game opportunity to sport the new shoes will be against the New Orleans Pelicans in Utah’s first game of the NBA’s restart on July 30 at 4:30 p.m (MDT).

The game will be televised on TNT and AT&T SportsNet.

Utah’s scrimmage against Phoenix is broadcast on AT&T SportsNet and NBA League Pass.
