SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – The Real Monarchs have had their schedule altered with New Mexico United due to the recent public health order set in place by New Mexico Governor Michelle Lujan-Grisham.

The order came following a surge of positive COVID-19 cases.

Originally, the Monarchs were scheduled to play New Mexico United on July 29th in New Mexico, that match has been postponed to a later date.

The new fixtures against New Mexico are as follows:

  • Home: Real Monarchs vs. New Mexico United – August 19, 2020
  • Home: Real Monarchs vs. New Mexico United – August 22, 2020
  • Away: Real Monarchs at New Mexico United – September 12, 2020
  • Away: Real Monarchs at New Mexico United – September 30, 2020

Since the return of the United Soccer League (USL) the Monarchs have played two games against San Diego Loyal and Colorado Switchbacks FC. The Monarchs have recorded a loss and a draw for a combined one point.

The reigning USL Champions are yet to win a game in 2020 following a 2019 Championship season that saw them win on 20 occasions from 38 games.

Next Opponent

Real Monarchs will next play the Colorado Switchbacks FC on August 1st at Weidner Field, Colorado Springs.
