SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Salt Lake City native and current PGA Tour member, Tony Finau, has been named as one of four featured groups for the upcoming 3M PGA Tour tournament this week.

Finau will play alongside Dustin Johnson and Tommy Fleetwood for the opening two rounds.

Last week at the Memorial Tournament, Finau finished in eight despite leading after the first two rounds. The weekend was not kind to Finau who finished a combined seven-over-par on Saturday and Sunday, his opening two rounds rather included a combined nine-under-par.

Since the return of the PGA Tour, Finau has only missed one cut from five starts. He is currently ranked as the 17th best player in the world according to the World Golf Rankings and currently sits in 32nd on the FedEx Cup leaderboard.

The other remaining featured groups for this week include Mathew Wolff, Max Homa and Brande Grace, Bubba Watson, Paul Casey and Pat Perez and Brooks Koepka, Keith Mitchell and Charles Howell III. Mathew Wolff won the event in 2019.

The 3M Open will be hosted by TPC Twin Cities in Blaine, Minnesota.

Finau enters the tournament as one of the favorites. You can watch all of the action on the Golf Channel and CBS.
