Tony Finau Finishes The Memorial Tournament In Top 10

DUBLIN, Ohio – Tony Finau was in contention for most of The Memorial Tournament until he struggled in the final round.
Finau finished eighth with two-under for the tournament but shot six-over in the final round. Entering the final round, Finau was trailing by four shots to the eventual champion Jon Rahm. Finau was in the lead after each of the first two rounds of play before shooting a 73 on Saturday.
In the final round, Finau started with three straight pars. He bogeyed No. 4 and 5 before hitting a double-bogey on No. 6. He ended the front-nine with a par on No. 7, bogey on No. 8 and par on No. 9.
The back-nine was much better for Finau as he made birdies on No. 10, 11 and 13. He shot a bogey on No. 12 and double-bogey on No. 14. Finau ended the round with four straight pars.

Tiger Woods appeared in his first tournament in four months. Woods finished tied for 40th with a six-over score.

The next tournament event will be the 3M Open at TPC Twin Cities in Blaine, Minnesota. It will take place from July 23-26.
