SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – The NFL emailed all 32 franchises and informed them that 2020 training camp will begin on time, according to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero.
On Saturday, July 18, ten days before all players were scheduled to show up for camp, the league reportedly email teams to confirm that the original schedule would move forward beginning with NFL rookies reporting on July 21.
Pelissero reported the clubs received the following email:
“At yesterday’s league meeting, the membership was advised that under the Collective Bargaining Agreement, the reporting dates for training camp this year are as follows.
Rookies – July 21
Quarterbacks and injured players – July 23
All other players – July 28″

The league currently allows 20 players of less to be at a team’s facility at a time. This restriction will reportedly continue for the time being.
The 2020 NFL season is currently scheduled to kick-off when the Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs host the Houston Texans on Thursday, September 10.
