Utah Jazz Gaming Clinches First-Ever Playoff Berth With Win Over Grizz Gaming

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Utah Jazz Gaming clinched a berth to the NBA 2K League postseason for the first time in franchise history with a victory against Grizz Gaming.
Jazz Gaming is the official 2K League affiliate of the NBA’s Utah Jazz.
Utah defeated Grizz Gaming, the affiliate of the Memphis Grizzlies, on Friday, July 17.
Lytel βLottyβ Martin hit a series-winning layup with 0.7 seconds left to clinch the win and a spot in the postseason.

With the win, Jazz Gaming will play in the 2K League Playoffs for the first time in the team’s three-year history.

The victory improved Utah’s season record to 11-2. The win also extended the team’s record mark for most wins in a single season.
Utah’s next contest will be in “THE TURN” tournament. Jazz Gaming owns the No. 2 seed. Matchups and details of the tourney have yet to be announced.
All matches will air live on the NBA 2K Leagueβs Twitch channel, in addition to select matches airing live on ESPNβs digital platforms and the NBA 2K Leagueβs YouTube channel.Β ESPN2 will air matches live on Wednesday, July 22 at 6 p.m. MT and Saturday, July 25 at 1 p.m. MT.
