He went on to play two seasons at Snow College where he was rated the fourth-best junior college running back in the nation and earned the 2018 NJCAA National Offensive Player of the Year. Warren rushed for 1,435 yards as a sophomore in 2018 with the Badgers.

After transferring to Utah State, Warren split carries with Gerold Bright in 2019. He played in 12 games and had 112 carries for 569 yards and five touchdowns. Now that Bright has graduated, Warren is expected to carry most of the load in the backfield for the Aggies in 2020.
Utah State was scheduled to open the 2020 season against Washington State at home but after the Pac-12 announcement of going to a conference-only schedule, that game and their game against Washington was canceled.
As of now, the Aggies will open the 2020 season at home against Southern Utah on Saturday, September 12.
