SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – You don’t see many athletes built like New Orleans Saints “Swiss Army Knife” Taysom Hill.
At 6-foot-2, 221-pounds, the former BYU star looks more like a linebacker than a quarterback. But then the confusion turns into awe-inspiring when Hill turns on the jets and showcases that 4.44 speed which has allowed him to find a role in the NFL.
The people who put together the ratings at EA Sports for their popular Madden video game have taken notice of Hill’s impact in the NFL the past few years. Taysom Hill received a 90-rating for speed by the makers of Madden NFL 2021.

Hill’s 90 rating for speed puts him as third fastest quarterback in the upcoming video game that is set to be released on August 25th. The only two quarterbacks in front of the former BYU great are defending MVP Lamar Jackson of the Baltimore Ravens and second-year signal-caller Kyler Murray from the Arizona Cardinals.
Through three seasons with the Saints, Hill has rushed for 352 yards on 64 carries. Good for 5.5 yards per attempt. Hill has also run for three touchdowns during his career in the Big Easy.
This past spring, Hill signed a two-year extension worth $21 million making him a candidate to become the Saints heir apparent at quarterback to Drew Brees after he retires. The Saints also signed former Tampa Bay Buccaneer Jameis Winston to a one-year contract this offseason.

Could Hill end up being a starter in the NFL? It’s a debate that many people have. But one thing that can’t be debated is that Hill continues to showcase he’s one of the best athletes in the NFL today.
