“Shooting in the 50s is rare and I’ll take em when I can get em,” Finau posted via an Instagram Story. “Side note to that round. I played the ball as it lies in every situation and finished everything. No covid rules. True course records are from tips and no gimmies.”
Finau sat at 14-under after 16 holes. He bogeyed the 17th hole. “250 yard par 3 in my defense,” Finau posted on his Instagram Story.
On Saturday, Finau reportedly recorded a clubhead speed of 206 MPH on a swing during a round at the Park City course.
