Tony Finau Drops Down Leaderboard In Final Round Of Rocket Mortgage Classic

DETROIT, Mich. – After finishing the third round on Sunday tied for 19th, Tony Finau struggled in the final round of the Rocket Mortgage Classic.
Finau shot two over par on Sunday while finishing the tournament at -9 and tied for 53rd on the leaderboard. In the fourth round, Finau started with two straight bogeys before two consecutive pars. After a double bogey on the fifth hole, Finau finished the front nine with two pars, one birdie and one bogey. He shot +4 on the front nine.
On the back nine, Finau made par on the first three holes followed by two straight birdies on 13 and 14. Finau scored a par on 15 and 16 before making birdie on 17 but ended the back nine with a bogey on No. 18 and scored two under on the last nine holes.

Finau’s Tournament Summary
The Utah native began the tournament at three under par, scoring six birdies, nine pars and three bogeys. On Friday in the second round, Finau shot two under par after making six birdies, nine birdies, two bogeys and one double bogey.
In the third round, Finau finished at -6 after a fantastic round with one eagle, four birdies and 13 pars.
Unfortunately, he couldn’t keep the momentum in the final round finishing with four birdies, nine pars, four bogeys and one double bogey.
