SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Real Salt Lake are flying to Orlando, Florida for the MLS Is Back tournament on July 4. Their first game is scheduled for July 12 when they take on arch-rivals Colorado Rapids.
Juarez admitted that the team is as strong as they have ever been. The playing group is close and the bond of the team has never been better, according to Juarez.
“I have sensed a very good, solid group. On Saturday we will deal with another challenge, landing in Orlando and entering the bubble. We will have to control the controllable again,” Juarez said.
Despite the comradery with the group, Juarez also warned of the potential poor soccer on display when the tournament begins.

“I expect us to have to grind out large portions of the game. I do not think you guys are going to see a lot of great football, haha, we are asking a lot from our player’s guys, we really are. I get about being optimistic and I love that but let’s not forget that they are human, this is the second pre-season in what, 6 months?” Juarez said. “We hope that we have done enough and that we can take a step in the right direction,” Juarez added.
MLS Is Back Tournament Food
Unfortunately, photos have circulated on the internet of the food that Major League Soccer is serving everybody in the bubble.

It seems as though food prices in Florida are much higher than here in Utah. For 45 dollars you can eat a banana and two slices of bread with ham.
