JUCO Wing Jordan Kellier Has Committed To Utah Basketball

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Utah basketball has received a commitment from junior college wing Jordan Kellier.
The 6’6 wing from Portmore, Jamaica will join the Utah program after playing at Williston State junior college.
According to Adam Zagoria of the New York Times first reported the move by Kellier and mentioned that he had two or potentially three years to play.

Williston State College is located in North Dakota. Kellier started in 19 of the 21 games played last season while averaging 17.4 points, 8.6 rebounds and 1.8 assists per game. He shot 44.6 percent from the field, 27.3 percent from beyond the arc and 79.8 percent from the free throw line.
Later Monday morning, Kellier announced his decision to join the Runnin’ Utes.

According to Verbal Commits, Kellier received offers from Jacksonville State, Cedarville, McNeese State, Eastern Illinois and Prairie View A&M.
Utah lost two players to the transfer portal from last season including Both Gach and Matt Van Komen. Gach committed to Minnesota and Van Komen will be joining St. Mary’s.
The Utes also granted the release from three-star recruit Caleb Lohner’s National Letter of Intent. Lohner recently signed with BYU.
