SLC Stars Forward, Utah Jazz Two-Way Player Jarrell Brantley Receives NBA G League Honors

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Salt Lake City Stars and Utah Jazz two-way player Jarrell Brantley received multiple NBA G League honors as he was named to the All-NBA G League First Team and All-Rookie Team.

During the 2019-20 season, Brantley led the Stars in scoring. He averaged 18.8 points and shot 51.2 percent from the field. He started 33 games and led the Stars to a 24-9 record in the games he played. The Stars finished the season with the best record in the Western Conference.
Brantley is the He is the first Stars player in team history to earn All-Rookie honors.
He became the first Salt Lake City player to earn All-NBA G League First Team honors since former Stars and current Jazz forward Georges Niang in 2017-18.

Brantley finished second in the race for the NBA G League Rookie of the Year.
In 2019, the Jazz selected Brantley during the second round of the 2019 NBA Draft. He was the 50th overall pick.
In addition to Brantley, Stars head coach Martin Schiller and VP of basketball operations Bart Taylor were recently honored as G League Coach and Executive of the Year.
