Utah Football Tight End Brant Kuithe Named Preseason All-American

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – University of Utah junior tight end Brant Kuithe has received some preseason recognition by Pick Six Previews as an All-American.
Leading up to the 2020 college football season, Kuithe was named fourth-team Preseason All-American by Pick Six Previews.
Kuithe is the only Utah player to make any of the four teams on offense and is one of nine players from the Pac-12.

Pick Six Previews released the offensive preseason All-American teams on Thursday. Oregon offensive lineman and former Desert Hills High School star Penei Sewell made the first team. Oregon running back C.J. Verdell made the second team while USC wide receiver duo Tyler Vaughns and Amon-Ra St. Brown are on the third team along with Trojans offensive lineman Alijah Vera-Tucker.
Joining Kuithe on the fourth team is USC quarterback Kedon Slovis, Washington State running back Max Borghi and offensive lineman Abraham Lucas.
Kuithe had a breakout season in 2019 after catching 34 passes for 602 yards and 6 touchdowns. Utah is scheduled to open the 2020 season on Thursday, September 3 against the BYU Cougars at Rice-Eccles Stadium.
