Former Utah F Megan Huff Signs With Minnesota Lynx

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. – The Minnesota Lynx announced on Wednesday that the team has signed former Utah forward Megan Huff.
The franchise also announced that forward Cecilia Zandalasini will miss the 2020 season due to a personal decision.
Huff was taken in the third round with the 26th overall pick by the New York Liberty in the 2019 WNBA Draft. She spent the 2019-20 season playing in Latvia for TTT Riga where she averaged 11 points, 9.2 rebounds and 1.3 assists per game in 13 EuroLeague appearances.
Huff had a very successful career at the University of Utah, scoring over 1,000 points and was named first team All-Pac-12 twice in two seasons with the Utes. She averaged 17.2 points, 8.8 rebounds and 1.5 assists per game through her career at Utah in 59 games played. Huff shot 49 percent from the field, 37.5 percent from the three-point line and 81 percent from the free throw line.
Huff will wear No. 5 for the Lynx.

On June 15, the WNBA announced that training camp and the upcoming 2020 season would commence in Bradenton, Florida at the IMG Academy.
Huff’s college coach Lynne Roberts released the following statement after the news of Huff signing with the Lynx.
“I am so proud of the hard work Huff has put in this past season overseas and I think it is a testament to her work ethic and passion for the game that she has this opportunity,” Roberts said. “She is extremely talented and I can’t wait to see what she can achieve in the WNBA. We are proud that she is a Ute.”
