Back in April, the colorways were released but a release date was not announced. According to Jazz Nation on Twitter, July 15 is the release date for the first three colorways of the new Issue #2 shoes. It’s unknown if the Venom 2.0 shoes will be included on that release date. In May, another colorway was teased by Mitchell. The new colorway includes the words “Let Em Hate” and “Prove Em Wrong” on the inside portion of the shoes. The insole of the shoes feature the follow words and phrases:
- Perseverance
- Be Humble
- Hard Work
- No Limits
- Rise Above
- Determination Over Negativity

In December, photos of the supposed D.O.N Issue #2 edition were leaked on Weibo. Adidas did not confirm the alleged second generation shoes.
The pictures show shoes that feature the Adidas logo, Donovan Mitchell’s spider/basketball logo, and the letters D.O.N on orange, yellow, blue, and green colorways.
