SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Former BYU and NFL quarterback Jim McMahon recalled in Chicago alongside basketball legend Michael Jordan.
During his professional career, McMahon played for the Chicago Bears at the same time that Jordan played for the Chicago Bulls.
“Have you all been watching The Last Dance? A great time to be a Chicago fan,” the former BYU QB posted on social media.

After playing at BYU, McMahon was selected by the Bears with the fifth overall pick in the 1982 NFL Draft. He played in Chicago until 1988.
He was a two-time Super Bowl champion during his career.
Jordan’s career in Chicago overlapped some of McMahon’s career with the Bears. The Bulls guard played in the Windy City from 1984-1993 and again from 1995-1998.
ESPN is currently airing a 10-part documentary on Jordan’s career called “The Last Dance.” The final two parts will be televised on Sunday, May 17 at 7 p.m. (MDT).
