Utah Jazz Center Rudy Gobert, NBA Players Set To Hold Charity Video Game Tournament

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Utah Jazz center Rudy Gobert announced that he and a couple of fellow NBA players are holding a special video game tournament with proceeds from the event going towards charity.
The NBA All-Star said that he along with fellow French NBA players, Evan Fournier of the Orlando Magic, Frank Ntilikina of the New York Knicks, and Vincent Poirier of the Boston Celtics, will host a charity tournament of the video game Call of Duty: Warzone on Sunday, May 17.
Gobert said that money from the tourney will go to his charity, Rudy’s Kids Foundation.
“This Sunday, 12 PM Mountain Time. Playing some Warzone with my guys for Rudy’s Kids Foundation,” Gobert posted on Instagram.

Gobert and his foundation held a holiday party at the Zions Bank Basketball Campus, where the Jazz’s practice facility is located, in December 2019
The center hosted 25 youth and their families at the event. The festivities consisted of food, music, winter clothes for those in need, pictures with Jazz center, and Santa Gobert handing out presents based on wish lists from the youth.
“Basketball is my life but you know being able to have such a huge impact on other people’s lives is to me what’s the most important thing,” Gobert said at the event.
