Utah Jazz Guard Donovan Mitchell Teases New Colorway Of D.O.N Issue #2 Signature Shoes

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Utah Jazz guard Donovan Mitchell teased shoe enthusiasts and basketball fans with photos of a colorway of his upcoming D.O.N Issue #2 signature Adidas shoes.

Mitchell posted photos of the second version of his signature kicks via Instagram on Saturday, May 16.

The new basketball shoes are multi-colored and feature a new design from the D.O.N Issue #1 shoes released by Adidas and Mitchell in 2019.

The new colorway includes the words “Let Em Hate” and “Prove Em Wrong” on the inside portion of the shoes. The insole of the shoes feature the follow words and phrases:

• Perseverance
• Be Humble
• Hard Work
• No Limits
• Rise Above
• Determination Over Negativity

Photos of the second edition of Mitchell’s signature shoes first appeared online in late 2019.

The Jazz guard announced the upcoming release of the D.O.N Issue #2 shoes via social media in early April 2020.

Leaked photos of the green colorway shown in a post by Mitchell show a Crayola logo, signaling a potential partnership for the D.O.N Issue #2 shoes.

For the D.O.N Issue #1 shoes, Mitchell and Adidas partnered with Marvel, Star Wars, and others for colorways.

The new Adidas shoes are scheduled to be released sometime during the summer of 2020, according to Mitchell.

According to SoleCollector.com, the D.O.N Issue #2 shoes will be released in August 2020 for $100. That pricing would stay consistent with the D.O.N Issue #1 shoes.
