Utah State Makes Sweet 16 Of Tokyodachi Mascot Bracket

LOGAN, Utah – Utah State’s mascot “Big Blue” has reached the Sweet 16 of the Tokoydachi Mascot Bracket.
Utah State’s mascot is the only one from the state of Utah that remains in the bracket. Big Blue is facing Cal State Fullerton’s “Tuffy the Titan.”
Fans can vote for Big Blue in the Sweet 16 round by going to Tokyodachi’s stories on Instagram.
Big Blue opened the bracket with a win over the BYU Hawai’i Seasiders before knocking off Hawai’i Pacific’s Sharky the Shark in the second round.

Utah’s mascot Swoop lost to Bowling Green’s Freddie Falcon in the first round. BYU’s Cosmo the Cougar beat Bucky the Badger from Wisconsin in the first round. Cosmo lost to Ohio Northern’s mascot “Klondike” in the second round.
Weber State’s Waldo the Wildcat lost to North Carolina State’s mascot Mr. Wuf in the opening round. The Southern Utah Thunderbirds lost to Ralphie from Colorado in the first round.
Dixie State’s mascot “Brooks the Bison” lost to Florida State’s Osceola in the first round.
Fans have until May 15 to vote for Big Blue. The Elite Eight will begin on the 15th.
