Local, National Sports Teams Celebrate ‘May The 4th,’ Star Wars Day

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Sports teams from around the state of Utah and the country have posted some fun and creative videos in honor of Star Wars Day.
May 4th has been adopted as Star Wars Day because of the playful pun of “May the force be with you” to “May the 4th.”
Teams locally in the state and professional teams from around the United States put their creative ideas on Twitter to celebrate Star Wars Day.
Real Salt Lake posted photos from their May the 4th game last season. The MLS season is suspended due to the coronavirus pandemic.
