SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Former Utah offensive lineman Darrin Paulo has decided to sign an undrafted free agent deal with the New Orleans Saints.
The three-year starter is headed to New Orleans to join a offense that had a 13-3 record in 2019.
Seven Utah players were drafted in the seven round NFL Draft in 2020.
The Sacramento, California native started his career at Utah by using his redshirt in 2015. In 2016, Paulo played in all 13 games on special teams.
In 2017, Paulo was inserted into the starting lineup at right tackle where he played and started all 13 games.

As a junior in 2018, Paulo stayed at right tackle as a starter and played in 13 games. He missed the regular season clash with Washington.
This past season, Paulo moved over to left tackle after Jackson Barton graduated. Paulo played in all 14 games for the Utes and was named first team All-Pac-12.
