SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Longtime MLS athletic trainer and current member of the Real Salt Lake staff, Theron Enns, has announced the tragic death of his mother-in-law due to Covid-19.
2/2 but more importantly: tell the people you love that you love them. Modern technology brought us into her hospital room to say that one last time and we’re so grateful for that. But I beg you again, do your part: stay home, stay safe. #RIPMary

Enns, who is currently serving as the Director of Sports Medicine/Head Athletic Trainer, is in his third year with the Claret and Cobalt. Prior to joining Real Salt Lake, Enns spent 9 years with the Colorado Rapids and 10 years with the Houston Dynamo.
Sadly, the Enns family was unable to say goodbye in person and instead had to settle for “modern technology” to allow them to do so.
Enns has urged those that hear about his family’s loss to “tell the people you love that you love them” while also requesting that the public follows the “stay home, stay safe” directive in which Governer Gary R. Herbert has implemented through May 1st in Utah.
