Dallas Cowboys Select Utah DE Bradlee Anae In Fifth Round, 179th Overall Pick In 2020 NFL Draft

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – The Dallas Cowboys picked former Utah defensive end Bradlee Anae in the fifth round, 179th overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft.
Anae was the sixth Utah player to be selected in the Draft.
The mayor of “Sack Lake City” is headed to Dallas to join a defense that had a 8-8 record in 2019.
Bradlee Anae’s Collegiate Career
The Laie, Hawaii native had a very successful career at Utah. His freshman season in 2016, Anae played in six games and picked up two sacks.
Anae’s sophomore season in 2017 saw him play in 13 games with 10 starts. He racked up 7 sacks, 10 tackles for loss, 3 forced fumbles and 2 fumble recoveries.
In 2018, Anae led the Pac-12 with 8 sacks to go with his 15.5 tackles for loss in 14 starts. He was named first team All-Pac-12.
Last season in 2019 as a senior, Anae exploded for 13 sacks and 14 tackles for loss which led to being named an All-American and first team All-Pac-12.
Anae broke the school record for most career sacks with 30. He also won the Morris Trophy.

Weight: 257 lbs.
Arms: 32 1/8″
Hands: 10 1/8″
At the Combine, Anae recorded the following results:
40-yard Dash: 4.93 seconds
Bench Press: 25 reps
Vertical Jump: 31 inches
Broad Jump: 115 inches
3-Cone Drill: 7.44 seconds
20-Yard Shuttle: 4.43 seconds
