SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – The Utah all-time sacks leader Bradlee Anae said that his biggest accomplishment was finishing school.
Anae has accomplished so much in his time at Utah and he is most proud of finishing his four years at the university and getting his degree.
The mayor of “Sack Lake City” spoke to KSL Sports’ Jeremiah Jensen on SportsBeat and told him what he was most proud of.
“Being able to finish school, ” said Anae. “For me, that was one of my goals. Just to finish school and get my degree was the biggest accomplishment that I was able to do.”
NFL Draft Process
Anae has been getting ready for the draft in a unique way with the COVID-19 pandemic forcing players to not meet NFL teams in person. The former Ute is just ready to play football.
“I am excited to start playing at the next level,” Anae said. “It’s always been a dream, it doesn’t really matter where I end up, I just want to go and start playing football. I want this pandemic to be over and play some ball.”

The All-American has had to meet with NFL teams after the Combine on FaceTime.
“I have done a conference call with six or seven teams,” Anae stated. “Some teams have had their defensive coordinator on the call as well. They will take you through plays and see how you process things. It’s for them to see how you take in information.”
Playing At The Next Level
On thing that Anae doesn’t lack is his confidence. He has been able to play with confidence throughout his four seasons at Utah which led to him breaking the school record for career sacks.
“I am totally confident, ” Anae stated. “I just trust the process and the work to do that at the next level and prove to nobody but myself.”
Utah DE @BradleeAnae has had teleconference meetings with the #Jets, #Lions, #Bears, #Titans and #Browns recently. Projected Day 2 prospect had 13 sacks for the Utes last season.

His favorite memory at Utah was his first sack of his career as a freshman.
“My freshman year against Colorado,” Anae mentioned. “I had a sack and I think it was one of my first sacks ever. I did a little celebration at the end but it just happened naturally. It looked pretty good on TV.”
