Possible NFL Landing Spots For Utah Safety Terrell Burgess
SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Former Utah safety Terrell Burgess has shot up the draft boards after a great NFL Combine.
Burgess needed just one productive season at Utah to show that he is an NFL player. His toughness, quickness and instincts will help him at the next level.
The former Utah safety has gone from possibly getting drafted to likely having his name called on the second day, in the third round of the NFL Draft.
Here are some possible NFL landing spots for Burgess.

Dallas Cowboys
The Cowboys have two safeties that are entering the final year of their contracts. This would be a great situation for Burgess to learn from veteran leadership in his first season and then step in and become a starter in his second NFL season.
Baltimore Ravens
Earl Thomas is nearing the end of his great NFL career. Burgess would be a great pickup for the Ravens to have Thomas take him under his wing and show him the NFL ropes.
Once Thomas is gone, Burgess will be able to compete for the starting job.
Kansas City Chiefs
The Chiefs are looking for secondary help but have some good safeties currently on the roster with Juan Thornhill, Daniel Sorensen and Tyrann Mathieu.
Drafting Burgess would only make the safety position more deep and talented for the Super Bowl champions.
Minnesota Vikings
The Vikings just put a franchise tag on starting safety Anthony Harris, so he is locked up for one season. Burgess could be the starting safety in waiting if taken by the Vikings.
The NFL Draft will take place from April 23-25.
