BYU Fans Voting For Chance To Place Billboard Near Rival Utah In ‘Best Fans In College Basketball’ Bracket

PROVO, Utah – BYU fans are voting for the opportunity to see a billboard declaring them as “the best hoops fans in the nation” placed in Salt Lake City near rival Utah provided the Cougars come out on top in FOX Sports’ “Best Fans In College Basketball Bracket.”
Cougar Nation was inserted into the bracket as a No. 10 seed.
“Aside from bragging rights, the winner of our Ultimate Fan Bracket will get to place a billboard in their rivals’ city declaring they have the best hoops fans in the nation, courtesy of FOX Sports!” tweeted the FOX College Hoops account.

The bracket consists of 68 fan bases of men’s college basketball teams. 32 auto bids were given to the schools with the Twitter followers from each conference. The other 32 bids were handed to next most followed teams in college basketball. The final spots went to the four highest-rated teams in NET ranking that weren’t already included in the bracket.

The BYU fan base moved one step closer to billboard glory by defeating the Missouri Tigers in the first round of the bracket.
Cougar Nation is currently squared up against No. 2 seed Michigan State in the Round of the 32 in the bracket.

The voting takes place on the @CBBonFOX Twitter account and ends on Monday, April 13.
