Ben Anderson Introduces Jazz Notes During Latest Episode Of The Hallowed Grounds
Apr 6, 2020, 12:14 PM
OGDEN, Utah – Well known radio personality and Utah Jazz insider joined me up at the Ogden Golf and Country Club to take part in this week’s episode of The Hallowed Grounds.
For those of you who are unaware of how the show works, it is simple. Nobody leaves empty-handed, unless you work for KSL Sports or another entity owned by Bonneville International and unfortunately for Ben, he does.
We play two holes, if my guest beats me on the first hole then they get there shot at a brand new Bushnell Range Finder (valued at over $500) if they can hit their tee shot the closest to the pin on the par 3 second.
As mentioned above, Ben was ineligible for the prizes as he is now a full-time member of the KSL Sports team.
Our conversation did not disappoint, however.
Jazz Notes
If you are yet to subscribe to the Jazz Notes podcast, then I would highly recommend doing so immediately. Ben gives great insight into the team while also breaking down specific plays to help fans better understand the game of basketball.
Ben has followed the team for 10 years now. His first job in the sports media realm came when he was gifted an internship with the Utah Jazz. His relationships that he has been able to build over the years with those within the organization and second-to-none.
He uploads multiple episodes a week to help his listeners make it through any given stress or anxiety that they may have during these trying times.
Fun On The Links
Ben and I had a blast up at Ogden Golf & Country Club. At one point, despite witnessing Ben shank most of his shots in all sorts of different angles, I risked it all by positioning my golf cart on top of the hill in which he was hitting over to help him understand where the green was.
Fortunately, I survived and we were able to continue playing our round.
I also admitted my love for the smell of fresh-cut grass. Ogden Golf & Country Club maintain their golf course as well as anybody in the state. Hence why I decided to share a little known fact about me.
“In my second life, I hope to be a cow.”
The Show
Be sure to catch The Hallowed Grounds every week on KSL (channel 5) during Sunday night Sportsbeat, it airs at roughly 11:15 p.m.
