Former Utah DB Eric Weddle, Utah State LB Bobby Wagner Named To NFL All-Decade Team

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Former Utah Utes safety Eric Weddle and Utah State linebacker Bobby Wagner has been named to the NFL’s All-Decade team.
The NFL veteran just finished his 13th season in the league before announcing his retirement after the 2019 season.
Weddle was listed as one of the best safeties in the NFL over the last 10 seasons. He is a 6 time Pro Bowler and 5-time All-Pro player. Weddle has made 1,235 tackles, adding 30 interceptions, 11.5 sacks, 41 tackles for loss, 5 touchdowns, 8 forced fumbles, and seven fumble recoveries.
The former Ute began his NFL career in 2007 when he was drafted in the second round to the San Diego Chargers. He has played for the Chargers, Baltimore Ravens and his final NFL season with the Los Angeles Rams.
Weddle joined Earl Thomas and Eric Berry as the safeties on the All-Decade team.

Wagner has spent his entire NFL career with the Seattle Seahawks after being taken in the second round of the 2012 draft by the franchise.
He made his sixth career appearance in the Pro Bowl while also being named an All-Pro six times and has added a Super Bowl to his resume.
Wagner has 1,075 tackles, 58 tackles for loss, 19.5 sacks, 10 interceptions, 5 forced fumbles, 9 fumble recoveries and 4 touchdowns in his career.
The former Aggie joined Luke Kuechly and Patrick Willis among the inside linebackers on the NFL’s All-Decade team.
