SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – The Summer Olympic games have been pushed back to 2021 but that doesn’t mean you can’t take in some of the best events in Olympics history. We will include events from summer and winter.
Some of the events below including the 1980 Miracle on Ice game, Michael Phelps amazing gold medal run, Usain Bolt, gymnastics and a whole lot more.
1980 Lake Placid Miracle on Ice – USA vs. USSR
This game was considered to be such a blowout that it was on tape-delay so it was hours later before Americans were able to see this classic game. There are a lot of people who think this was the gold medal game but it was a semifinal game.
2018 PyeongChang – Shaun White halfpipe
Shaun White’s final run was one of a kind and he was attempting to win another gold medal, and the big question going into the race was if he could convert consecutive 1440’s.
2008 Beijing – 4×100 men’s freestyle relay
This is one of the most exciting races in Olympic history and part of it has to do with how the race finished, but also for the French team trash-talking the Americans pre-race.

This is the closest ever as the difference was just .01 and saw a furious comeback that is hard to believe just by watching the race.
