Who doesn’t watch Jimmer Fredette highlights while at home all day?
SALT LAKE CITY – This Coronavirus Pandemic has put all of us in the same boat. We find ourselves staying at home looking for ways to pass the time. The same goes for NBA players including Utah Jazz guard Emmanuel Mudiay.
Mudiay, like so many sports fans, was recently watching highlights of old sporting events. The first-year Jazzman had to show love to the man he was watching that being former BYU star Jimmer Fredette.
On his personal Instagram stories, Mudiay said, “@jimmerfredette_32 you a bad boy my guy” with a highlight video of Fredette’s last game at BYU against Florida in 2011.
Honestly, who doesn’t find themselves watching some old Jimmer highlights? Me personally, I’m watching anything KSL 5 TV’s Jeremiah Jensen puts out on Jimmer from the KSL Sports Archive. The man was a walking bucket in college basketball.
Fredette ended up with 32 points in the Sweet 16 loss against Florida which would be the final time Jimmer suited up as a BYU Cougar.
We all miss March Madness. Let's revisit some favorites. I'll start with @jimmerfredette dropping 34 and 7 threes on Gonzaga sending @BYUbasketball to their first Sweet 16 in 30 years. #KSLSportsArchive #BYU https://t.co/zjkmX6c1M8 pic.twitter.com/vjtHcCTs7m

Yeah, it didn’t work out in the NBA. But that doesn’t take away Jimmer’s greatness during his time at BYU. Players such as Mudiay can recognize that as well.
Hopefully, if the NBA returns this season, we see Mudiay getting buckets as Fredette did at BYU for the Jazz.
Jimmer Fredette on TikTok
The next best thing to live sporting events might be athletes embracing trendy dances on TikTok. Jimmer Fredette is now joining in on the craze. Fredette’s wife, Whitney, posted some TikTok’s with Jimmer and her family dancing.
Speaking of TikTok, you should probably sign up and go follow the KSL Sports TikTok page. You’ll be finding yourself dancing in no time.
