SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – The former University of Utah running back Zack Moss is doing everything he can to improve his draft stock. In a recent video posted to social media, Moss is seen running an electronically timed 4.52 40-yard-dash, .13 seconds faster than what he ran at the NFL Combine.

“I just wanted to come out here…get a little workout in and you know, prove myself again in the 40-yard-dash,” Moss says prior to the footage of him running begins.
Draft Projection Rising
Multiple mock draft analysts view Moss as one of the premier backs in the country. His ability to gain yards after contact while also being a very capable blocker has many NFL head coaches and general managers excited about Moss’s potential. His skill set is diverse.
According to multiple mock drafts that KSL Sports has scouted, Moss could go as high as the second round to the New York Jets. However, it seems more likely that Moss will fall into the third or fourth round, potentially going to the Kansas City Chiefs, Los Angeles Chargers or the Arizona Cardinals.
The recent dismissal of all-pro running back Todd Gurley from the Los Angeles Rams has potentially opened the door for Moss to join Jared Goff and co. in L.A. According to a report, the Rams were one of many teams to sit down with Moss and conduct a one-on-one interview.

Regardless of where Moss ends up, his future seems bright. Barring anything unforeseen, he will be on an NFL 53 man roster.
What round he will be drafted in, and how much guaranteed signing bonus money he makes, will be made known in just a short couple of weeks.
However, more footage of him running 4.52 second 40-yard-dashes will only help his cause.
