SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – With the NBA season suspended due to the outbreak of coronavirus, basketball hungry fans have been searching for an outlet to fill their roundball thirst. According to the AT&T SportsNet viewing guide, the station that owns the Utah Jazz broadcast rights, that search may soon be coming to an end. Starting Wednesday night, the AT&T SportsNet will re-air recent Jazz classics to help bridge the sporting gap until the NBA returns.
Utah Jazz vs. Portland Trailblazers: November 1, 2017
The first game aired marked the true beginning of the Donovan Mitchell and Rudy Gobert era in Utah, a Jazz win over the Portland Trailblazers on November 1, 2017. The Jazz knocked off the Blazers in overtime 112-103 thanks to a then career-high 28 points from the Jazz rookie.
The game marked the first time the Jazz began to run their offense through Mitchell as he went head to head with All-Star guard Damian Lillard.
The game also featured one of many clutch Gobert blocks against Lillard that helped to send the game to overtime. As the Jazz were searching for an identity, Gobert and Mitchell’s big late-game plays signaled a new beginning in the absence of Gordon Hayward.
The game will air at 7 p.m. MT.
Future Games
The station plans to air additional games as the coronavirus continues to sideline the league. KSL Sports has reached out to both the Jazz and AT&T SportsNet for information regarding which games will be played but have yet to hear back.
AT&T Sports will have a wide variety of games from the last three seasons. This season alone Croatian forward Bojan Bogdanovic has provided two buzzer-beating game-winners over the Milwaukee Bucks and Houston Rockets.

Other fan favorites over recent seasons could include Joe Ingles infamous headband game on November 13, 2018, against the Memphis Grizzlies and the Jazz road victory over the Detroit Pistons on January 4, 2019, when after being heckled by a fan, Donovan Mitchell caught fire in the fourth quarter before taunting the fan towards the end of the game.

How Do I Prevent It?
The CDC has some simple recommendations, most of which are the same for preventing other respiratory illnesses or the flu:
- Avoid close contact with people who may be sick
- Avoid touching your face
- Stay home when you are sick
- Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue and then throw the tissue in the trash
- Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially after going to the bathroom, before eating, and after blowing your nose, coughing or sneezing. Always wash your hands with soap and water if your hands are visibly dirty.
- If soap and water are not readily available, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
The CDC does not recommend wearing a facemask respirator to protect yourself from coronavirus unless a healthcare professional recommends it.
