Mitchell, Gobert, Utah Jazz Celebrate International Women’s Day Against Raptors

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Donovan Mitchell, Rudy Gobert, and the Utah Jazz organization celebrated International Women’s Day on game day against the Toronto Raptors.
Utah hosted Toronto at Vivint Smart Home Arena on Monday, March 9.
The Jazz guard along with his mother Nicole provided tickets to the game to women from Alpha Kappa Alpha. In addition to the tickets, Mitchell gave the women signed special edition colorways of his signature Adidas D.O.N Issue #1 shoes.

Mitchell teased the International Women’s Day colorway of his shoes during International Women’s Day on March 8.

Jazz center Rudy Gobert planned to donate $1,000 to Girls on the Run for every blocked shot he recorded against the Raptors. Girls on the Run is a program designed to help girls from the third through eighth grade develop skills to appreciate health and fitness.
International Women’s Day Shirts
During pregame, the Jazz wore shooting shirts that featured the J-Note logo and the words “International Women’s Day” written in traditional team colors.
