Utah Forward Timmy Allen Named Second Team All-Pac-12

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – The Pac-12 Conference released their individual and all-conference awards. Utah Utes forward Timmy Allen has been named second team All-Pac-12.
This is the first all-conference honor for Allen after receiving all-freshman team honors last season. He is the first Utah sophomore since Jakob Poeltl in 2016 to be named to an All-Pac-12 team.
Allen is averaging 17.5 points, 7.3 rebounds, 3 assists and 1.2 steals per game and finished the regular season with six double-doubles.
The Mesa, Arizona product has reached double figures in scoring in all but two games in Pac-12 play and scored 20 points or more in four games.

Allen is one of just eight players to average 17 points, 7 rebounds, 2.5 assists and one steal per game in the nation and is the only player from a Power-5 program.
Utah received the No. 9 seed in the Pac-12 Tournament which will begin on Wednesday against No. 8 Oregon State. Tip-off from T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada will be at 1 p.m. and will be televised on the Pac-12 Network.
