BYU Track & Field Head Coach Ed Eyestone Named MPSF Men’s Coach Of The Year

PROVO, Utah – BYU track and field head coach Ed Eyestone received Mountain Pacific Sports Federation 2020 Indoor Track and Field Men’s Coach of the Year honors.
The MPSF announced Eyestone as the award’s winner on Tuesday, March 3.
Eyestone has been awarded the conference’s coach of the year honors for the second year in a row.
Under Eyestone, the Cougars won consecutive MPSF Championships in the last two seasons including four individual titles and four top-three placements.

Eyestone has coached 64 All-Americans in distance events during his time at BYU.
In 2019, Eyestone led BYU’s men’s cross country team won the NCAA Championship while the women’s team took second in the country.

It was BYU’s first national championship team since the Cougars’ 2004 title in men’s volleyball.
