Jazz Guard Jordan Clarkson Bullies His Way To Hoop For Dunk Over Rockets

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Jazz guard Jordan Clarkson forced his way to the basket for a slam dunk during Utah’s game against the Houston Rockets.
Clarkson and the Jazz hosted the Rockets at Vivint Smart Home Arena on Saturday, February 22.
The Jazz sixth man drove to the hoop and faked out Rockets’ guard Ben McLemore before rising up for a two-handed dunk during the first quarter of play.

Clarkson’s three-foot driving dunk cut Houston’s lead over Utah to 36-34 with 1:11 left in the opening quarter.
The Jazz guard finished the first 12 minutes of game time with 6 points off the bench. Clarkson shot 3-5 overall to lead Utah’s second unit. He added 2 rebounds in 7 minutes on the court.
Utah closed the first quarter shooting 57.1 percent despite going 16.7 percent on shots from beyond the arc.
Houston shot 59.1 percent from the field and 72.7 percent from three during the first 12 minutes.
The Rockets made 8-11 shots from distance.
James Harden led the Rockets with 12 points in the opening quarter.

During the opening minutes of the second quarter, Clarkson poured in 10 quick points as part of a 20-6 run by the Jazz.
