SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Utah Jazz players were exchanging jokes on Twitter during the NBA All-Star break. Forward Joe Ingles sent out a tweet about an encounter with a fan who simply wanted to take a selfie.
Problem was that the fan did not politely ask the Jazz sharpshooter.
Ingles stated on Twitter that he is okay with taking photos with fans but would prefer them to say please.
A guy puts a phone right in my face and says ‘selfie, selfie’… I said at least say please. Then says ‘you want me to call you sir also’?
Seriously, come on man. I have no issue at all having photos with people but at least say please. Especially if I’m with my family.

Of course, whenever Ingles tweets out something like this, you can almost guarantee that one or two teammates of his would chime in and that’s exactly what happened.
Donovan Mitchell responded to Ingles’ tweet about the fan asking for a selfie.
I’m crying rn 😂😂😂 https://t.co/aBnCx2U5dQ

Rudy Gobert had a basic/sarcastic response to Ingles’ tweet.
Thank you for the story https://t.co/PKY4C0Hhl0

In a separate conversation on Twitter, a fan mentioned Ingles and how he would make a fantastic coach after his playing career. Ingles brought up how much he would love to coach Mitchell and that he would “kill him in film sessions.”
I’d love to coach @spidadmitchell! Man, I would kill him in film sessions https://t.co/nQB0Ay5T7o

Mitchell responded to that tweet by telling Ingles that he would hit him with the “I don’t wanna be here,” line. Milwaukee Bucks guard Eric Bledsoe tweeted a couple of years ago that he didn’t want to be in Phoenix when he was with the Suns.
If you were my coach I’d hit you wit the “I don’t wanna be here” tweet😂😂😂😂😂 https://t.co/czWmomr8zF
