CHICAGO, Ill. – The NBA released the NBA All-Star uniforms that the players will wear in the game on Sunday in Chicago, Illinois.

The two teams are divided with the two players who received the most votes in each conference. LeBron James of the Los Angeles Lakers and Giannis Antetokounmpo of the Milwaukee Bucks are the captains.

Team LeBron will wear the blue uniforms with Team Giannis sporting the red jersey’s.

On those uniforms is the “All-Star” logo with corporate sponsors. Also, on the top left portion of the uniform with nine stars in a circle. The stars represent the nine victims who died in a helicopter crash in Southern California on January 26. Among those victims was Los Angeles Lakers legend Kobe Bryant and his daughter Gianna.

On the right side of the shoulder is a black stripe across the jersey. That stripe represents the passing of NBA Commissioner Emeritus David Stern who passed away at the age of 77 on January 1 from a brain hemorrhage that he suffered three weeks prior.

All of the members of Team LeBron will wear No. 2 in honor of Gianna Bryant’s number. Team Giannis will all wear No. 24 to honor Kobe Bryant’s number. Utah Jazz duo Donovan Mitchell and Rudy Gobert will play for Team Giannis in their first career All-Star game.

The NBA All-Star Game will be played on Sunday at 6 p.m. on TNT.
