Five-Time NBA All-Star
Lillard was named as an NBA All-Star for the fifth time of his career this season. Despite suffering an injury earlier in the week, the Blazers guard was able to participate in All-Star weekend.
He suffered a right groin strain in Portland’s 111-104 loss to the Memphis Grizzlies on February 12. After the game, he announced that he wouldn’t play in the NBA All-Star Game or participate in the three-point contest.
On February 13, the NBA named Phoenix Suns guard Devin Booker as Lillard’s replacement for both events.
