PROVO, Utah – BYU’s Cosmo continues to wow everyone that watches the viral slam dunk performed last Saturday at the Marriott Center. Even celebrities are starting to weigh in on Cosmo’s high-flying act.
Comedian Frank Caliendo who’s the best of the best when it comes to impersonations — especially sports impressions — caught wind of Cosmo’s viral dunk and broke it down the only way he could, with an impression.
Caliendo busted out a Bill Walton impression to highlight Cosmo’s dunk. Watch for yourself.

“Forget about Lebron…this is reminiscent of Tommy Chambers, double-triple pumping from the three-point line in NBA Live on the Sega Genesis video game system,” said “Walton” (Caliendo). “The realism was unprecedented!”
First off, did Caliendo know that Bill Walton loves BYU hoops? Maybe Caliendo went back and watched Walton’s calls from Maui that absolutely raved about the Cougar Cagers. Also, working in former Utah Ute and Phoenix Sun Tom Chambers into the mix was a great touch.
According to CBS Sports, Cosmo has something bigger planned for the upcoming home game against the Gonzaga Bulldogs on February 22nd. We can only hope that it will be spectacular enough for Caliendo to bust out another Walton impression breaking down all of its glory. That is the content that all of us need right now.
