Weber State G Jerrick Harding Named Big Sky Player Of The Week After Historic Performance

OGDEN, Utah – The Big Sky has announced that Weber State guard Jerrick Harding has been named Conference Player of the Week.
Harding is coming off of a record-setting week, averaging 34 points per game in their two wins last week.
He set a new Dee Events Center record with 44 points in Thursday’s win over Sacramento State, including a 25-point first half while shooting 14-21 from the field for the game and nailed a career-high five three pointers and was a perfect 11-11 from the free throw line.
In Saturday’s win over Northern Arizona, Harding finished with 24 points on a perfect 4-4 shooting from beyond the arc. During the week, Harding passed Jeremy Senglin for the school’s all-time leading scorer. Harding has 2,123 career points, which is fourth most in Big Sky history. He also has the fifth-most career points of any active player in the country.

Harding is averaging 22.8 points per game which is seventh most in the nation and tops in the conference.
Weber State has a 10-14 overall record and a 6-7 mark in Big Sky Conference play. They will hit the road on Thursday night to face Montana at 7 p.m. The game will be broadcast on Pluto TV channel 537.
